RULES FOR USE

  • Contract/Rules for Using the Civic Center
  • Each group using the building is responsible for inside-and-outside cleaning after their function. The facilities will be inspected and videotaped before and after each use. A refund of $100.00 will be made only if the building and area are left clean and all rules are followed. Refund checks are written the second week of the following month after rental date.
  • The use of glitter in the building is prohibited.
  • FLOORS must be dusted and damp mopped to remove any dust, dirt, spills of food, liquid or other materials and counters cleaned.
  • ALL GARBAGE is to be taken from premises and disposed of properly.
  • TABLES AND CHAIRS must be returned to their original storage dollies and left in the original locations of the building. Please stack chairs and tables on dollies as you found them.  4 Chairs on the top row and 8 chairs on the bottom row of the chair racks.
  • NO SMOKING inside the building. No smoking signs are posted. Sand buckets are placed on the premises. Please make sure that cigarette butts & trash placed in these buckets are removed.
  • ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, ILLEGAL DRUGS AND FIREARMS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.
  • THE EADS CIVIC CENTER HAS IHE RIGHT TO REGULATE IHE NOISE OF MEETINGS QR PARTIES. Outside activities are to be terminated by sundown, the use of outside's smoking area must not disturb the neighbors; if the Sheriff's Department is called the refund will be forfeited.
  • GROUPS USING THE BUILDING MUST END THEIR FUNCTION AND HAVE THE BUIDLING CLEANED BY 11 :00 PM (FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS) and 10:00PM SUNDAYS-THURSDAYS
  • PARKING Please ask your guest to park and stay on civic center property only. This is a residential neighborhood area
  • PEOPLE UNDER 18 must be properly chaperoned.
  • IF ANY OF THESE RULES ARE NOT COMPLIED WITH, you and your group will forfeit your future use of the building.
  • WHEN USING THE AIR CONDITIONER, do not set thermostat below 72 degrees. Thermostats are located between the restrooms and by the closet door.
  • WHEN LEAVING THE CIVIC CENTER, thermostats should be set above 85 degrees for summer and be set to 55 degrees for winter.  Be sure the STOVE Is turned off and the refrigerator door is closed, and ALL LIGHTS are TURNED OFF and BOTH DOORS are LOCKED.
  • SIGNED CONTRACT must be returned with RENTAL FEE
